Queens Park Rangers playmaker Adel Taarabt will definitely leave the club this summer, according to the player's agent.
The Moroccan stared for QPR in the Npower Championship last season, a year that saw the club promoted to the Premier League.
But after catching the attention of some of Europe's elite, including Arsenal and Chelsea, the player's agent Marco Sommella, confirmed the player would leave the newly promoted side.
"QPR are looking for a player to replace Adel Taarabt, who is to be
sold to Paris St Germain," he said.PSG had reportedly submitted a bid of £13.2 million for Taarabt earlier this summer, a bid that leaves manager Neil Warnock deflated in the race to keep his prized asset.
"We don't know whether he's going to go or stay, it's up in the air at the moment," Warnock said.
"We're quite optimistic either way. If we lost him it would be easier for me in some respects, the money would come in handy, but I don't think we'll spend any of it.
"With his family all in France, and his girlfriend there as well, there's so many things to taunt you. He's going to be at a top club, (on) massive money."
Taarabt had earlier this summer claimed that both Arsenal and Chelsea were chasing him this summer, and his manager Warnock said he had some friends at the Premier League giants that could tempt him into a move.
"‘As far as his talk of wanting to go to Chelsea or Arsenal, I know he has a lot of friends at Arsenal," he said.
